Located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA, Praecis was founded in 2010 by international experts in precision engineering, metrology, and climate control.

The Praecis Environment products eliminate machine inaccuracies caused by thermal expansion and other climate variations. The core of Praecis climate control is the Praecis Air Temperature Control Unit (ATCU), providing temperature control with a minimum of 50:1 better than room temperature. The Praecis ATCU maintains air temperature stability up to ± 0.005 °C at the Critical Point over a range of ambient conditions. The Praecis Environment systems maintain the target temperature better and less expensively than any other product on the market.

Each Praecis product is customized to the client’s specific requirements. Praecis can supply any level of engineering services, accommodating user-supplied enclosures as well as Praecis custom enclosures.
